OPENING 1 – ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

ACCOUNTIBLITIES
  • • Seek and sell, with comprehensive training from management and help from teammates

  • • Secure appointments with clients you can help
    • Seek information from clients, present appropriate solutions for their needs
    • Create quality sales presentations
    • Create memorable and effective campaigns for radio, TV and interactive
    • Communicate with others in organization to ensure completion of projects
    • Update and maintain databases to track results of company products
    • Obtain research and qualitative and retail information and various other demographic research for inclusion in proposals
    • Perform other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Must have current driver’s license and good driving record with proof of insurance coverage
  • Travel required to meet with agency customers and attend trade shows
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • College degree preferred.

OPENING 2 – BILINGUAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Bilingual Marketing Specialist will prospect, set appointments, prepare marketing plans and proposals for businesses throughout the Lafayette area who utilize Delta Media’s Latin/Hispanic broadcast stations Radio Lazer, KLWB 50.3 Telemundo Lafayette and digital asset acadianaenespanol.com. This position is sales oriented and requires an individual who can communicate with clients and work with sales and production teams to execute advertising campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate the ability to communicate fluently in Spanish and English.
• Prospecting and uncovering sales opportunities through networking and forming relationships with advertisers who target the Latin/Hispanic community.
• Present all products, both radio and TV, to prospective clients using research and programming information.
• Work on a collaborative or support basis with Account Executives when called upon.
• Maintain sales data bases necessary to report activity and customer information.
• Performance of any other tasks or projects relating to Hispanic media assigned by management.

OPENING 3 – ON AIR TALENT/BOARD OP – LA CALIENTE

JOB DESCRIPTION

Individual will be responsible for running the board during the 6-10am Morning show and provide local Weather, Time and Traffic reports during the local breaks as well as making sure that all commercials run as on station log. Talent will engage with local audience and will be part of the station on air Promotions and giveaways. Help translate and voice spots as needed.

OPENING 4 – DIGITAL MEDIA MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Delta Media Corporation has an immediate opening for a Digital Media Manager for our high performing radio and tv broadcast stations. This position includes but is not limited to developing and executing a strategy to produce the best local content online, on site and on air as needed. This position requires someone with a strong knowledge of sports, news and music.

This person must be able to engage audiences on multiple platforms, and writing content on websites & socials. You must be able to write and create clickable, sharable local content on our online platforms. This position requires you to work creatively and collaboratively with the on air, online, production and sales teams, along with our advertising partners. This person must be able to assist our digital design team and other departments as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Expertise with content creation and curation
• Extremely creative in the development of unique & fresh content and multi-media strategies.
• Must publish credible and reliable content.
• Work with sales team & managers to create monetizable digital assets
• Attend other programming/sales meetings as requested
• Total responsibility for the overall digital content of all stations
• Creation and implementation of multi-purpose digital ideas that grow ratings with a digital audience
• Help the Delta Media team implement and grow on-air, online, and on-site attendance
• Must be able to meet time restraints and deadlines
